"My favourite time in Paris was spring. It felt so hopeful, and that intense longing for warm and sunny summer days was almost greater than the feeling when they actually arrived. Sometimes we got two or three really warm weeks in March and it was as though they gave us a little taste of what was coming. Ice cream on Île Saint-Louis, shoes that weren’t boots and parks coming back to life. Nothing made me smile as much." - Carin Olsson
