Tell us a little about yourself!
I am an artist, illustrator, designer and independent printmaker. I also started making ceramics, which is so much fun and good for the soul.
Describe a typical day in your life!
I wake up and go for a jog or a walk with the dog in the forest before cycling to my studio. I’m trying to reply to emails and do boring stuff first, to be able to concentrate on the fun creative stuff the rest of the day.
Describe your art in 3 words!
Playful, colorful, decorative.
When do you feel the most creative?
I’m really tired in the mornings so my creative peak usually comes sometime between the afternoon and the evening. Most of the time the ideas come when I least expect it, e.g. when working out or taking a shower.
What's the one interior piece you would save if your house was on fire?
Probably a couple of very beautiful chairs designed by Svenskt Tenn with textile pattern by Josef Frank that I inherited from my grandfather. They are made of wood, so they would probably burn far too quickly.
What's your biggest source of inspiration, do you have a role model?
I would say that nature is my biggest source of inspiration. All beautiful colors and shapes. Everything is imperfect but still completely perfect and unexpected.
What’s your go-to gift to bring to a house warming party?
Flowers or champagne, or both. And board games.
What are you doing in ten years?
Hopefully I have even more time for painting and creating ceramics. And have a lot of kids, dogs and a garden.
What's your best place on earth?
That would be Mölle in Skåne, in the south of Sweden, where my grandmother lives.
Do you have any hidden talents?
