Hi Natali, how are you?
Hello! I’m doing really well! Constant lack of sleep and time with two small children, but I’m in such a wonderful place in life and feel SO grateful for what I have around me.

Tell us a little more about yourself!
I'm a vibrant girl with lots of energy and plenty of ideas! I live with my boyfriend and our two adorable children.

What's happening in your life right now?
A year and a half ago, I became a mum for the second time, and we also moved into a terraced house! So I'm thinking a lot about how to make this chapter of life as fun and good as possible. We're doing a lot of renovations, and I've started my own business! There's a lot going on and much to keep track of, but things are starting to come together!

How would you describe your home and your style?
My home is newly renovated and doesn’t have a true soul yet. We've painted, but now we need to fill it with quirks, memories, art, and items. My style is definitely very cheerful and relaxed; everything develops and takes shape over time. I find it hard to pin down a specific style since much of it is second-hand and "just comes to us".

"I love art! I love the idea and vibe that each artwork conveys a message from someone's inner self!"

Where do you find your inspiration for your interior design?
Shop windows! There’s so much inspiration in creative shop displays! But of course online as well, mainly on Pinterest. There, I search for specific rooms to get ideas for fun ways to decorate or colour scheme. I often search for “eclectic decor.” Then Instagram's algorithm has figured out EXACTLY what I like and serves up incredible inspiration without me even trying!

You've just finished your renovation, and renovating can be challenging with so many decisions... Do you have any funny stories to share?
Haha, like how we really made all our decisions at the last minute? Renovating was SO unexpectedly difficult; my boyfriend has no interest in interior design at all but wants to be involved in every decision, which was quite demanding for me as I prefer quick decisions. Many think he’s hard to persuade because I like such bold colours, but he struggles just as much to decide between two different shades of white!

Your absolute favourite decorative item?
I must say my Betty Boop; she has accompanied me through almost all my homes and various interior styles. I also have a lot of love for small thrift shop finds that are scattered here and there.

What is your relationship with art?
I love art! I love the idea and vibe that each artwork conveys a message from someone's inner self! Behind every artist lies a dream, a vision, a passion that we get to experience—how luxurious is that? Art doesn’t always have to be profound; sometimes, it’s just beautiful!

What décor style is a big NO NO?
Those canvases with New York motifs! Haha! Or too many hard edges and shiny furniture. But it's perfectly fine not to care about interior design; I just love being in a vibe that makes me happy and prioritise that highly!

Your best tips for finding the right one? (poster)
Oh, I looked for quite a while and saved a fair few favourites! Then, when I had a moment, I sat in the room with the wall space to fill and held up my phone with the different designs on the mobile screen to get a feel for what would work. I even made a montage, but that's a bit of overkill! Haha, in the end, I would say choose a poster you like, but do measure the size against the wall. For me, the sizes were hard to grasp; how much is 70cm actually on a wall!? But the most important thing is to select a poster that makes you happy or reminds you of something lovely!
